An editorial proposal to reconsider the natural potential of land before transforming it

There are plots of land that have not yet been developed and that, from a real estate perspective, may appear to be spaces awaiting use. The editorial proposal behind AVENUE 14 invites us to reconsider this perspective and understand undeveloped buildable land as part of the territory’s natural capital. Before determining its future, this approach encourages us to observe the conditions that already exist and the value they may contribute to their surroundings. In this way, land can be understood not only through its development potential, but also through what it preserves, supports, and contributes to the territory. The proposal opens a question about how to recognize that value before transforming it.
